Giveaway: Cuppow mason jar sipping lid and coffee cozy

When my friend Gabe shared this new thing called Cuppow on Facebook, I knew I wanted one. It’s genius. It’s a sippy cup lid that turns a wide-mouth mason jar into a drink container. The lid is BPA free.

From water to coffee, I always walk out of the house with a drink. I’m picky about coffee cup tops so I usually just grab a regular coffee cup and hope I don’t spill it. For water I’ve been known to tote it around in a repurposed glass juice jar. As pretty as Sigg cups can be and as popular as Klean Kanteens have become, I just don’t love drinking from a stainless steel container. And like so many others, we try to avoid plastic bottles.

Since Gabe taught me how to can, one thing I always have in my kitchen is mason jars. Even better, this lid passes my picky standards as a great coffee sipping top. It’s the right size and it doesn’t dribble.

I immediately ordered two Cuppows after hearing about them. It was their first week in business and I was not the only one who liked the idea. Soon I got an email from the company saying the popularity of these lids struck them by storm. They had to hire five people to handle the surprise volume and stock more Cuppows. Two days ago I got my Cuppows. I tired it. And I liked it so much I’m sharing me second one with one of you nice readers, through a giveaway.

And if you’re going to put something hot in there, it’s nice to have a snazy coffee cozy. So this morning I sewed one to go with it. Today I’m feeling nice, and crafty!

Today’s giveaway is for the packaged Cuppow seen above. And the washable, velcro coffee cozy (good for tea and hot chocolate too) backed with a soft organic cotton. The mason jar is not included.

We use mason jars for drinking glasses here. I can never find a portable coffee mug I like so this would definitely come in handy. What a great idea!!
